Hello Guys ,
Is it possible to install windows server 2016 on a OVHCLOUD vps ? I saw some tutorials but none worked . they seemed outdated . I have an official license key and want to use it but OVH forces you to buy a license before installation . Is it possible to install a free version ( 180days Eval for example ) and then activate it with my own license key ?

No, they dont officially allow you to install your own image with a retail key. Message i got from the support
Unfortunately you will not be able to use that licence.
The only options that can help you is either you have a licence from OVHcloud or else you have an SPLA licence this are the only options that can be good. I think this is due to microsoft licensing terms.
Try https://netboot.xyz for DD windows OS.
