I would like to change Main IP Address from 198.x to 51.x, however in OVH Doc it state to edit /etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml , however in Doc showing IPV4 value , while when i run cat /etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml i see IPV6 only values

How i can replace the ip address safely has i know with ovh support it could take long to answer or fix in case an issue

Hopefully someone could help me

Well, it would be more precised if you'll post your YAML config. In that case maybe I, or someone from here can help you more better

  • using default route on your new IP address doesnt work?

it seem just redirection config, using Ubuntu 18.04
Also the new IP address it not pingable.. even listed in additional ip on the dedicated server in question

    root@ns:~# cat /etc/netplan/50-cloud-init.yaml

This file is generated from information provided by the datasource. Changes

to it will not persist across an instance reboot. To disable cloud-init's

network configuration capabilities, write a file

    /etc/cloud/cloud.cfg.d/99-disable-network-config.cfg with the following:

    network:
