Is it possible to add 2x2tb or 1x2tb hdd on this? If yes, how much would it be extra?
Yes, but it won't be worth it. Anytime a tech touches a server, you're paying dearly for it. These kickass prices are possible through automation, when you take away the automation, the kickass prices go away.
Gotcha - Anything with low CPU/ RAM but high hdd available? Similar budget...
Sent you a PM
Thank you, the one I ordered I was given a bigger disk.
Setup fees would help. We/I'd love that to be possible while keeping kickass prices. 👌
Would love to see similar deal and price at LA DC
It was in stock in LA.....
Same here. I've been as close as 5-10 minutes from when deal is posted and LA is never available by then. Missed this one by 30-45 minutes and LA gone.
Oh must have missed it as I just saw this listing.
Sold out in 2 hours....jeez.
3900x is too beefy for me. I'm looking for another E3 in LA.
Believe it not, when I checked the stock only 15min after the announcement, there was not even a piece left in LA.
LET gets the announcement last. You guys are stock killers.
All sold out, please start next batch

Anyone able to get KVM working for "Intel Xeon E3 1230"?
I am struggling to get it up... I wanna use my iso to install the OS... but, its running into some issues launching the jnlp...
Laptop OS: Win 10 Pro
Jre: Version 8 Build 361 (build 1.8.0_361-b09)
Under Java Settings -> Security -> Exception Site list I have added the KVM IP (with/ without https)
Whenever I open the SuperMicro KVM page, IE, Edge, Brave, it prompts "You need the latest Java(TM) Runtime Environment. Would you like to update now?"
Clicking OK takes me to another page:
Finally I somehow reach RemoteControl -> Console redirection.
It downloads a jnlp file.
it starts but errors out:

Reached out to support - they are trying to help, but it doesnt seem to work for me.
Just checking if and how I can get this working...
Thanks in advance
@plumberg
have you tried using openwebstart? Normally openwebstart with icedteaweb would help with those old java apps. You will probably also need to downgrade the allowed TLS versions in java security settings so that you re-allow TLS 1.0 again....
what is the cost of additional ip i thought last time when we discussed it was 1$/m is its same still ? also waiting for the ryzen Deals
O wow. I never knew about open web start. Will definitely give it a go in sometime 😊
Thnx
Unfortunately it is not working out for me. It's throwing some 404 errors for downloading the ikvm jars from the kvm url in jnlp...
Sigh 😕 😞
Support says
KVM is working on our end without any issue
Not sure if the browser or Java version jas anything to do here...
Welcome to Java dependency hell when trying to use the Java ikvm web console on old machines. Did you added TLS1.0 in the security settings? Otherwise you would have to go through the needed ciphers which is probably worse...
Any pointers hie to do that pls?
