  • AMD or Intel? And Why? :)

    AMD of course

Lot of cores for cheap price
    Small TDP

  • Depends on the generation of CPU TBH, but it also depends on other details of your project and the kind of load you expect, various cost considerations, etc., etc. I'd look at other system needs first, make a balanced decision. People spend way too much time on CPU considerations when they should also spend time on other system specs, not to mention reliability, network, support from your provider. Good luck.

    Intel of course.

Laravel and Intel both ends with "el".

Just for better performance with laravel and mysql.
    So,
    Laravel →AMD?
    Mysql → Intel?
    Correct?

  • For daily coding and gaming I prefer AMD. Why pay premium if you don’t have to rely on the blue brand?

  • What kind of question this this
At least let us know what exact models you are comparing.

Hmm, how about php & mysql?

For better performance with laravel and mysql, so which one might be better?

  • AMD is the best.

    Or Arm..

  • One vote for Intel, which is shorter = less problems

  • Depends on the CPU, really. Some Intel will kill AMD, some Intel will kill AMD.

    shorter for what?

So which one might be the answer for laravel with mysql?

    Or Arm..

    Sounds Great!

2 sounds instead of 3, you can save a lot of things in case of SOS

What is faster, Toyota or Mazda?
    Brand doesnt matter.
    Specific model matter.

Best overall for php right now is AMD Ryzen 7950X and Intel Core i9-13900K, but if you go for budget VPS then you likely will have choice like EPYC 7xx2 and Intel Xeon Gold.

Overall if you want simple answer then newer = better.
Old AMD will be worse than new Intel.
Old Intel will be worse than new AMD.

    Compare models, not brands.

MySQL is a database, not a CPU.
