The thread got re-posted to fix the poll, sorry about that for the people who already voted! Thanks @DP for the quick fix
Does tokyo include DDoS Protection?
Nice
Grats on a new location. Really prem service.
Can we expect shared in tokyo anytime soon?
Could you offer BGP Session in Tokyo?
Congrats on new location from a happy Ashburn customer
Tokyo has basic level DataPacket filtering as well as custom ACLs at edge to prevent common attacks. It will work for a lot of things, but anything very application specific etc wouldn’t be suitable.
Thanks! Shared will follow suit in the near future. We are just launching it with VPS first to ensure it’s viable before expanding other services. We also plan to launch dedicated in all locations.
Unfortunately not at this time.
any plans on other EU locations?
UK won't do it for me sadly.
Does Prague or Amsterdam sound good?
Yes
Some questions:
Is there a way to upgrade the current plan?
Would the disk, CPU expand automatically?
Does the promotion code work on upgrade?
How many backups would be stored?
Yes, you can upgrade all plans to the next and also keep the promotion code during upgrades. The only thing to consider is that if you ever wish to downgrade, a reinstall of the server is required to resize the disk space.
We allow the storage of 1 backup, which you can take daily, weekly or monthly. More backups can be purchased if needed, but this is the default included.
We're still confirming which, but a new European location has been confirmed. It will likely be either in Prague or Amsterdam
V prem Prague sounds gut.
Could I move from UK to Amsterdam?
Yes, first you have to find a home in Amsterdam and move your stuff there. Some legal paperwork may be required as well.
Congrats! And finally something without NTT (connected) in Japan🤣
Sure
We're nearly out in Tokyo, get them while they last.
Singapore & Ashburn restock is coming soon, also about to be out of stock in the UK but that will also be restocked.
Thank you for the orders everyone! We will be setting OOS within the next few days until we get new hardware in.
Do you have a rough timescale for dedicated servers in the UK, please?
Do you guys support private network?
If only there were more traffic
Please restock singapore server and make bigger plan like 16GB ram or 32 GB ram plan.
I live in Japan and am concerned about this information.
This is quite an old thread that should maybe be closed.
Japan will soon be on AMD Ryzen 7950X, upgrading all of our 5950X and 3900X machines free of charge. Current ETA is 2 weeks to a month.
