DTAG

Does anyone know a provider, that has peering with DTAG, offers the BGP session, and has great BGP communities options available so I can only announce to DTAG?

Kind regards

Try iFog.ch (AS34927). DTAG is worldwide present. See https://lg.telekom.com.

Why would you only want to announce to DTAG?

DTAG in Europe charges a lot for access into the Telekom network.

The OP is trying to use someone else's paid peering into DTAG, while utilising their cheaper transit that someone has calculated as being a mix therefore potentially causing the provider to generate loss on the deal. :)

(whether or not this is intended, this is what it boils down to)

Yes, exactly. But apart from the direct connection ("paid peering") it's a horrible idea to route everything over DTAG, because all pipes are completely congested so there will be a lot of packet loss.

I suppose to tunnel the DTAG traffic through said provider, that's when BGP comes to play ;-).
