An exploit in almost all recent versions of ESXi are being targeted by ransomware today! In our datacenter alone we've seen multiple encrypted servers. We've for now blocked port 427 on the edge to avoid further encryptions.

Seems like a lot of people in those forums have just installed them on OVH/Hetzner and then just left them open.
