Google Workspace has been doing the job nicely for us :)

It has seen a few price increases over the years (what hasn't?) but I think it's still good value for money. Not really using any of the fancy features that come with it, just email and ocassionally Google Sheets.

There's absolutely cheaper options available, but as the ol' saying goes "don't fix what ain't broke".

With that said... we are using Amazon SES for SMTP transactions for things like WHMCS, as Google Workspace was ocassionally throwing errors when trying to bulk mail (i.e. sometimes happened during the daily cron, or mass mails for service announcements and such).

  • Hi.
Some popular and reliable web/email hosting providers: G Suite (Google Workspace),Microsoft 365,AWS (Amazon Web Services),Bluehost,HostGator.
All of these providers offer features like webmail interface, unlimited email addresses, anti-virus and anti-spam protection, and multiple domain support. You can compare their features, pricing, and customer reviews to choose the one that best fits your needs.

AVOID Bluehost, Hostgator, and any of the other 80+ companies that are fronts for EIG (Endurance International Group, possibly renamed to Newfold Digital). Whatever they are called and whichever hosting brand name you find, they are poor choices for hosting services.

-> Do a web search for "EIG hosting" or "EIG companies". Here is one link to get you started:
