Looking for recommendations on a Gaming server for FiveM & other games.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a game server, primarily for FiveM but other games might be used. Thinking of trying Contabo's 8Core/16GB vps for $16 for the USA Virginia server.

VZ Type: KVM

Number of Cores:4-8 (but it depends on clockspeed too)
RAM:12GB min, 16 preferred.
Disk Space:80GB minimum
Disk Type:NVME preferred but SSD is okay

Bandwidth: Not sure, I know running fiveM or any game server with voice chat uses more bandwidth than congress does looking at pornhub.

Port Speed: 10gbps

DDoS Protection:
Yes

Number of IPs: 1-2

Location: NA-East

Budget:
$8-16

Billing period:
Monthly is optional but I'll take quarterly for a good deal.

If you want to get these specs at this price you'll get oversold shit with no DDoS protection at all.
Why would you even need 10Gbps for FiveM?

Double/triple your budget and then "take quarterly for a good deal.",

For context: one of most popular FiveM hosts NForce asks 83euro/mo for 8vCPU + 16GB RAM (specs you're asking for).

Not sure about specifics on that Contabo, but looks like when you pick location + add the IP you're more ~$20-21/mo + setup fee and you're on a 400mbps connection. I don't think you're going to be able to get your asks--especially a 10G port--for that price range. 25-35/mo range is likely getting into realm of possibility depending on which things are 'must' versus 'wants'.

When I did a write up for what I wanted with Contabo's 2nd tier vps, it was $16ish per month for ashburn servers plus the setup fee, which I have 2 servers with them currently across the pond in the UK that I maintain for UK minecraft twitch streamers. I know 16GB ram is a must, the cpu core numbers may not have to be high though with the right cpu clock speed. 1Gbps would probably be good enough, I just hate not having enough. I know from talking to other server managements on discord of fivem communities that they see continuous 500mbps usage with peaks higher than that.
