From personal experience, I'd recommend Speedypage and ExtraVM. Both are excellent in terms of performance, price and support.

ExtraVM has SPanel, all the same functionality, just a different interface.

Speedypage has CPanel if you're set on using CPanel only

I haven't tried Speedypage. However, their specs look great as they provide Bunny.

Extravm's performance is great. Only thing I don't like is the spanel.

Yeah for my media-intensive clients, they've been my go-to lately because of that. The CDN is fine, I've already got that on my own, but the added bonus of that image optimizer that would otherwise cost me $9.95/mo is free. If I can save my clients money and give them a better experience, I'm all about it.

I ran into a couple of SPanel quirks that likely only happened because of my specific case, but that didn't stop @MikeA from narrowing down the issue and getting it resolved in a timely manner. Dude really does go above and beyond.

During the test, when I enable Persistent Object Cache test, score is 0.

But Site Health tools says "persistent object cache is being used".

One of the comment above displays Persistent object cache with scores.

Do you know if I need to enable any settings for the Persistent Object Cache test to display scores? This is why I don't like Spanel. In cPanel, I could enable cache via PHP extensions but it is not available in Spanel.

docket cache plugin is installed in your wp?

@kidrock See if it's any different now. There was an issue with php-fpm for 8.2 (all others were working) caused by some automation bug, it's fixed now. I checked the opcache configs and everything is normal.

@MikeA Persistent object cache report still displayed 0 score. But when I installed and activated Docket cache plugin, Persistent object cache report displayed scores of 10. However, Docket cache plugin is incompatible with Litespeed cache plugin, as seen in the screenshot below. There must be a way for this to work, without using Docket cache plugin.

@kidrock I will setup a test account today with Wordpress and look into it, but I don't see any technical problem looking at configs.

In docketcache faq it says this. https://docs.docketcache.com/faq

Can I pair using it with LiteSpeed Cache?
Yes, you can. The LiteSpeed Cache plugin has an Object Cache feature. Currently, by default, it will prompt a notice asking to disable Docket Cache. You only need to turn off LiteSpeed Cache Object Cache in order to use Docket Cache.

That will probably work. But instead of adding one more plugin, if this can be achieved by configuring Litespeed server settings.

    @vingohost

  • @kidrock said: Only thing I don't like is the spanel.

yes. me too. you can't transfer from spanel to cpanel/DA easily if you want to, so you are stuck with transferring to a web host who uses spanel and that's rare!

  • @kidrock said: I am using Litespeed cache plugin. But Docket cache plugin conflicts with Litespeed.

for that you've to disable object caching inside Litespeed settings. Just keep normal page cache and browser cache. Else, it conflicts with Docket
