    No

Why don't you consider participating in a thread that you start? (Unlike last time)

Not to mention that it's foolish to reveal your email address on a forum for all to see

  • i think you will need a tpm 2.0 to run windows 11. But are the same requirements also for a widows server 2022, maybe you could install this on a windows 2022 server vps ?

I believe we support Windows 11 on our new i9 nodes.

Willing to offer Windows 11 Pro (with installation) at no additional cost with our Monster: KVM-8G Plan.

We can install Windows 11 on VPS!
    Please contact our specialists :)

  • I think we can buy linux vps then install windows 11 on it

  • It's possible to do this, but you will require a VPS with nested virtualization. Basically you will install Proxmox on your VPS, then install a Windows 11 KVM guest with emulated TPM 2.0 etc.

Possible, but not a particularly great idea, unless you are planning to develop for Windows 11 or something highly specific. In fact, I'd avoid Windows altogether when it comes to servers. Call me old fashioned or ignorant, but Windows barely deserves its place on the desktop and NEVER should be used as a server.

I'm sure (lowkey hoping) someone will flame me for that.

Unless something has changed recently, Microsoft does not license desktop versions of Windows for VPSs. You must have a Windows Server license to be compliant on a VPS. Some people run desktop Windows on VPSs, but it violates Microsoft's license. Windows 11 is a desktop Windows. Windows Server 2022 is a Windows Server.

Some VPS providers do not permit users to run Windows on their "Linux" VPSs. One of my VPSs was mistakenly "suspended" by customer support when they thought I had tried to install Windows on my "Linux VPS". A minute later, they realized their mistake and apologized. I never noticed any change. I never knew that the VPS I rented was considered "Linux only." (It was probably in the AUP, long forgotten since I run only Linux on VPSs anyway.) The point is that some providers actually enforce a "No Windows" policy. Check first.

  • You can run Windows 11 as an LXD VM in linux (if your provider allows it). Installation takes time but not too difficult.
Last week I installed such a VM (just to immediately export its image tarball for a newbie friend. Image was about ~5GB).
