unable to decide between filen and koofr storage

already missed the BF offers for filen so now there is 1 day time remaining life time offer for cloud storage koofr.

if i want to select best storage with client based encryption which would be best option.

And for coupons for stacksocial if somone has please share it on this post.

Filen encryption is more mature and has more advanced UI. I believe it will be a better choice than Koof for client-sided encryption.

filen has client side encryption by default. I purchased their 200 GB plan during 2022 BF sale. Try emailing their support and maybe they will give you some sort of lifetime deal. Else you have to wait till next BF sale

BTW their storage is stackable, so you can start by purchasing their 100 GB lifetime plan which is available right now: https://filen.io/pricing and keep on adding more storage in future.

if you ask me its filen . they recently fixed sync issue what those sub reddits users had but its all okay now. The dev are active on discord and git.

It's always a risk going for these lifetime deals, but both Filen and Koofr haven't shown any red flags and big concerns that I've seen yet, so IMO it's a somewhat safe bet they'll both be around for long enough to make the deals worth considering, even the non- Black Friday deal. Filen is still offering a lifetime deal, and it stacks. I think Filen has a little more experience with the encryption side though, but Koofr has been around longer overall. Both have seen significant improvements in the last year alone. Take your pick, or get both!

yes exactly both are on their good things only nothing about problems that makes us think regret . i ordered both actually now These deals comes once and you need to wait longer .

KOOFR has more features and can be considered better than Filen as of now, but Filen is also evolving.

I run Filen's client once or twice in a month to sync files/folders, and have never faced any issues with it. I didn't check their reddit, so don't know what was the issue.
