Netcup Storage Space - Anyone Using?

Hi,

Need more space on my netcup root server, so maybe their storage space will be a good option: https://www.netcup.eu/vserver/storagespace.php

Anyone using Netcup Storage Space attach by NFS to a Netcup Root Server? If yes, is it good (speed and reliability)?

Thanks

It’s okay. I’m not using it but I have used it. It performs like typical network attached storage. It isn’t attached like it’s a local disk, as opposed to what most clouds call block storage. It’s hard to treat it like an expansion rather than a mounted backup volume.

Thanks for the feedback. Hoping to be attached like a local disk, since the purpose was to use it as storage for the moodledata folder on a big Moodle installation.

Which storage space do you recommend?

I like block storage on BuyVM for the cheapest addon storage that runs like a local disk. Way more sane for permissions, file systems that support quotas. Same as Vultr, Linode, Hetzner, DO, just way less expensive.
