Price per GB is still cheaper and for most people disk performance isn't that important.
Disk performance, actual network performance and availability are pretty much all that matters anymore since CPU/RAM performance been overkill for few generations (relative to IOPS and network)
I ment for cheap dedi's the disk performance isn't that important because its a cheap dedi.
You can pay more if you want ssd/nvme.
