Workstation colocation

Hi, does anyone provide such services in the US, or is it possible in another location and how much does it cost

Depending your specs it may be cheaper to convert it to a 1U/2U system.
We offer colo on rackmount systems not tower.
    I do know of https://joesdatacenter.com/products/colocation/
    which offers tower colocation.

Look into the Dell Precision R3930 rack workstation units. We have a few of those that we built for a customer and they seem to be pretty solid. Can likely build a comparable system for close to that same price and you'll have way more flexibility on colocating a 1U unit.

Hard to find many places still offering bread rack colocation. I believe a few of the budget providers listed above still do it.
Just typically not in major locations due to space costs.

Some places are ok with you laying it on the side, using gruber rails -- just reach out to a few places, let them know your power draw and full requirements i.e bandwidth/ips.

I've never used Joe's DC but compare pricing on tower vs rackmount:

Perhaps just renting a dedi would be cheaper? Depends on what you're doing of course.

That's what we do. As long as the height is less than 19" we rack them sideways on universal rails.

  • @terrahost can home it in their Norway loc for sure, not sure about the NL or USA(which they support for normal colo from what I remember).
    hit them up
