Wordfence Premium security plugin alternative
While searching for security plugins, found the Pluginvulnerabilities plugin from Reddit posts. They claim the plugin is an alternative to Wordfence Premium and provides the best security compared to other security plugins.

They are offering the plugin for a one-time fee $10. Anyone using this plugin? How is the experience?

I have never tried them, but a good alternative is iThemes Security. They are pretty good and do the job for what I need them for.

I am using Virusdie from Pitchground. Had 5 sites for 49 dollars one-time-payment. Believe now on Pitchground it costs 99 though.
I usually like securing my inital WP install with WP Security Ninja (free version; https://wpsecurityninja.com/). I then usually scan my site with https://app.upguard.com/webscan (free) to see if there are any more vulnerabilities I wanna fix. Additionally, many people in the german wp community prefer Ninja Firewall ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/ninjafirewall/ ) over Wordfence. Might also be worth a look.
Personally, I think most of these "security" plugins are junk.
In my experience, when a WordPress site gets hacked, it's due to an outdated WordPress core, plugin or theme, so keeping everything up-to-date and making sure to delete (not just deactivate) plugins or themes that aren't being used, or are not truly necessary, goes a very long way to keeping a WordPress site secure. Strong, unique passwords for /ftp/mysql/wordpress/etc certainly helps too.
