Network quality at Hetzner's new Oregon location?

Hi, has anybody tested the network performance of Hetzner's new Oregon location with connections to different continents? This claim makes me consider using the new one over their Virginia datacenter, as Hetzner's network quality is generally not very well regarded:

this new West Coast location will allow us to provide better connections, including important links to submarine cables located in Hillsboro, which connect North America to Asia. The network connection is currently an impressive 400 Gbit/s to ensure rapid data exchange, and we will gradually improve this connection in the future

It's OKish for me, but I only live on one continent. ;-)

  • Define network quality. They buy transit and are present in NWAX. That's it.

  • Submarine cables sounds weird. Shouldn't they just be marine cables? I just picture a submarine with a big ass cable connected to shore, xkcd comic style.

Perhaps the announcement was written by a native German speaker... Or a child who likes submarine's...
