    @NDTN -

Would you please double-check my ticket? Ticket #700419. I'm having issues with network thoroughput. I've been advised that someone is going to the datacenter to troubleshoot. Can you confirm? Thx

Yes we are working with the DC to see if it's a loose network cable or network card issue.

I am still waiting on a resolution... Please re-check my ticket, I requested a change of location as a possible alternative, because it seems that this node is simply overloaded, because I can get somewhat reasonable performance out of it at times.

It's been five days however, and the thoroughput is still pretty dismal.

Well, did you find the "loose network cable" in the datacenter? It's been more than a week now, your online support person just keeps saying:

"We have sent a request to the data center and they are checking this issue, in which case can you try checking again in a few days?"

Your technician obviously went and tested it, and didn't notice the intermittent speed slowdown as I proved clearly exists above, and relegated me to the PEBKAC pile, without a thorough investigation into the issue.

I asked to be moved to a different server or plan in the ticket, even offering to downgrade my spec, that was ignored.

    Now you're ignoring me completely.

Greencloud has been an utter disappointment for me.

  • Greencloud has agreed to a partial refund and cancellation. That's better than nothing.

Dealing with their support felt like a Uighur having their kidneys harvested by the State. Chop, extract, discard. That's how they treated my support tickets for such an obvious problem on their end. Sub-100mbps speeds for a "10gbps" service -- laughable!

My advice to others is to avoid this company. This was a waste of time right as I was getting ready to deploy after a year of testing.

Now I need to go and look for another VPS.

If we said we are working with the DC to investigate the issue then it means that we are working on it. It seems that you are impatient and just abusing our support. The network was working fine locally but has slow speed to other regions, the DC has tried some fixes and still working on it. It’s better for you to go with other providers in this case.

Sir, may I please kindly have the partial refund that was offered (and which I accepted) five hours ago?

The refund sir, the refund.... Please cancel and issue the refund.

DC1 is Datapacket and DC2 is Leaseweb. Most people prefer Datapacket's network from what I have seen.

Looking forward to some EPYC deals in SG this BF. Just switched from Vultr because of their high pricing, and I'm giving GreenCloud a try thanks to many positive reviews here 🤞

Also, can you share the time when those deals will go live?

Power price in EU is still very expensive, in both DE & NL, maybe next year we will have more offers when the power price is reduced a little bit.

Does anyone have an IP in the Greencloud NL location that I can use to test the network connectivity? The IP advertised on the website (46.182.111.246) has 100% packet loss and support cannot provide another IP to test unfortunately.
