Interested in cheap dedi
Unfortunately the dedi I went for was already sold out. Oh well BF/CM ...
So, I'm looking for a cheap dedi, maybe a BF/CM leftover *g
Specs:
- within Europe (incl. Russia, but minus DE, PL)
- min 4 halfway decent cores (passmark > 5000)
- min 16 GB memory
- min 240 GB SSD (or NVMe), preferably mirrored, but a small (> 40 GB) single SSD (or NVMe) plus min. 250 GB decent network storage is acceptable too.
- IPMI access (24/7) is a must
- Network uplink speed not much of a concern, 1 Gb/s preferred but 100 Mb/s is acceptable too
- reasonably decent connectivity (obviously not Hybula level but not crappy either) within Europe
- support response time <= 6 hrs incl. on weekends (I rarely need support but when it's needed it should be decent and reasonably quick).
- you either must support Linux and BSDs or have ISO support
- Low traffic (<= 5 TB/mo)
- 2nd IP4 for a decent price (3 IPs total included would be perfect)
Strictly boringly legal usage, no public VPN, no torrent, possibly email but only very small scale (avg. << 25 outgoing emails/day, normal stuff, no marketing or sales or the like) but highly likely none at all, no gaming, porn, etc.
I want a test IP before buying and if I buy I'll pay min. semi-annually with reputable providers.

I am also looking for a server to host RoyalApps server. But it needs ipmi (on demand or 24x7 is ok). Very low system requirements. Literally barebones but sufficient to run Windows (I can BYOL)

What about Hetzner auction servers, any luck there, they generally have nice disk combinations.

I was already afraid that this is not cheap enough. Thanks to your relatively special wishes with additional IPs, IPMI access and direct support, I was hoping that the offer could have a chance, especially since many providers are currently raising prices (our price increase until the end of 2023 is already included in the price).
Should anyone else be interested just contact me. A handful of such servers have been standing around unused for months.
