What to selfhost

I know this has been talked about before, but with all the black Friday special's people will have additional servers to figure out how to use them.
So, what are you self hosting?
Mine are: bitwarden, owncloud, openVPN, personal blog, Standard Notes.

How many vps's do you have?

Many of those apps just run on PikaPods.com (which I started). I was just too lazy to deal with the setup steps and backups of all those apps.

Privately, I have maybe 2 VPS only. Of course the company manages many more.

You are the founder of PikaPods?
I checked it out, could be costly 😃, but it's cool idea.

I want to run a promo with some extra credit here on LET soon. Just need to add a form field for the coupon or something. So do stay tuned for that.

Apart from that, most people tell me it's too cheap. 🤷‍♂️

Services (now or in the past) on my server :
Matrix (Element Web), Matrix Bot, Mastodon for federated communication
Drone CI, Gitea for developing (discontinued because one of my servers collapsed)
    Vaultwarden
    NextCloud
    Invidious
    WordPress
    SSO service
    Maddy
    SearXNG

    Backend services needed:
    PostgreSQL

    Docker
    PHP
    Nginx
    Traefik

  • SearXNG and Piped to avoid some tracking.

  • AdGuard Home, far more cloud friendly compared to pi-hole. Plus an Outline instance, you'll never know if you might suddenly get stuck in a restrictive network for a while.
