My laptop died, because of a power outage in my area  i hope so it get repaired within a week i'll be back soon!

The plug (AC to DC converter) didn't prevent anything? That's odd, the charger should be the one that breaks unless the outage was really severe.

Laptop runs without battery, so no idea what happened. :/

  • Getting close to 2am (eastern). Did everything end last night at this time, or in another hour?

  • Sadly the charger was replaced while ago and this one does not have fuse inside it.

The power adapter should prevent the laptop from damage. How the laptop died?

Yeah, I'm a bit confused regarding that. The wall outlet shouldn't directly reach the mobo, it has to go through adapter -> battery -> mobo right?

    Ah, what model laptop?

Probably some power surge and fried the charge controller chip

Yup normallly the adapter will be damaged. Anyway it is always better to use surge protectors for costly equipment.

    Ah ok
If you really can invest some time and effort, there are ways to identity which component of the mobo failed and replace it self.

My area is counted as industrial area, so.. load of industries fries the transformer providing us power. This happens like in a few months, but this time 3-4 blasts of transformer and power out for few hours. This burned laptop

Yes just identify yourself as a baby

I wonder how babies would act when under the influence of alcohol. It must be really really bad for their health though.

    Test yourself

Already tried few troubleshooting which was possible without equipment but else is work of microsoldering professionals :)
