Don't people cover their mattress ?
I have thick quilted mattress pad, then a bamboo mattress pad, then a plastic cover, then bottom sheet. I can't see how millions of dead skin cells, dandruff, animal and human hair, secretions, excretions, lint, pollen, dust, soil, sand, and a lot of perspiration, would ever accumulate enough to double the weight. Of course I will schedule a mattress weighing in the near future to fact check snoops since my mattress is 11 years old and post the results.

Im probably insane enough to make and automate that
But dont see a value of spending 200€ or whatever to prooove someone wrong/right after 11 years xD

It is. I paid a bunch for it but I sleep real real well. It also feels as good as the day I bought it.

The mattress also has lifetime. It's better to replace for such a long time
