ok
and u were short in the future and posted?
Oh, I saw it too.
One cannot expect 100% sla for a low end forum. Even tech giants like Meta, Muks, Microsoft will shrink one day.
I have had poor response and timeouts from LowEndTalk from time to time. I think to myself, "Now it has started. Someone is going after LowEndTalk with a big DDoS attack. It happens." (Lately, I have been wondering when a fruit farm might go after them.)
-> The root cause is nearly always that I switched rooms and I wasn't paying attention. My laptop WiFi is still bound to a far-away access point instead of the nearby one and has not automatically switched yet.
... and then I palm my forehead, say "Doh!", and force it to switch to the closer access point rather than waiting. Suddenly LowEndTalk performance is much better, with few dropouts. Imagine that!
LET is now attacked way more often than it was before KiwiFarms thread.
Just curious. How did you determine that?
how did you make this post then?
This momentary outage was due to us upgrading the hosting containers to better handle the increasing load.
I'm the left unwanted hand of @jbiloh
lasted a few minutes
Something to consider for the future perhaps.
Idk why. Saw that notif when opened LET in my IE 6. But everything was cool as usual when used my IE 12.
