Global CDN network which allows porn?

Just got kicked out of Hetzner.

All large global cloud and CDN networks have a policy against hosting porn content. Okay, there are many smaller hosting companies who allow but I look very specific for a global CDN which have the capability to serve out large amounts of HLS video and static content.

  • Looks like Bunny.net allows adult content.

  • Cloudflare allows it too; there are many porn websites which use their pro plan.

Reflected Networks (AS29789), lot of big adult sites under their AS (https://dnslytics.com/bgp/as29789)

    But not low-end I'm afraid.

    https://reflected.net/globalcdn

There is also Advanced Hosting, seen some adult websites hosted by them.
    https://advancedhosting.com/en/video-cdn
    https://advancedhosting.com/en/static-cdn

And maybe StackPath CDN allows adult content, I'm not sure.

Cloudflare if you do a bit traffic you pay a high price. For 30TB it was about 8k month...

    What you talking about?
How did you manage to pay $8k for 30TB?!

Even if you host it on their servers by using Cloudflare R2 you'll pay like $450 per 30TB and you can lower it down with some commitment.

If you host it on your own server then just proxy it via CF Worker, maybe $5-10.

I was going to say the same thing as others about no bandwidth charges from Cloudflare, but your post reminded me about Cloudflare Stream - necessary for video.

$5 per 1,000 minutes for storage, and $1 per 1,000 minutes delivered

Advanced Hosting is the way to go if you have a significant amount of traffic. Cloudflare could also work, depending on your requirements. Many bad suggestions in this thread, be careful and contact the provider before making a choice.

@sandoz said: DDoS-Guard they allow that for sure, they also have their own company registered in Belize.

Porn is a grey area in Russia, and illegal in Belize. No significant legal adult site is based in those territories, and DDoS-Guard does not offer CDN services anyway.

I hate to say it, but a lot of times the suggestions given here on LET with this kind of threads are generally... anything but favourable. They either miss a bunch of the requirements, or are outright not what's required. Or a lot of jokes go around and the OP thinks they're serious.

Maybe we should stop a bit before speaking up instead of answering things incorrectly. Of course, as a client you should also do your due duty before ordering a service from any provider; but please, we can do better than this.

Best combo to use wasabi + bunny pull zone.

Advance hosting cdn. 6 layer hotlink protection. Is a joke.

I bypass the ip/refer based protection. They tend to use ping system. And put ip/signature in url.

Most likely it's porn which gets angry emails aka a tube site or something, because I'm pretty sure they allow legal pornographic sites. Hetzner has no tolerance for any kind of email troubles.

Both Hetzner and Contabo does NOT allow adult/porn content, it is stated in their AUP.

No this is not necessary for video.
This is for video live transcoding.

You can stream directly from Cloudflare R2 or from your servers using Cloudflare Workers.

They removed video exclusion from Workers ToS in May 2022
Before it was "You may use Cloudflare Workers (whether in conjunction with Cloudflare Workers KV or not) to serve HTML content as well as non-HTML content (e.g., image files, audio files) other than video files"
    Now it is gone.

R2 and Workers KV is explicitly allowed to host non-HTML as noted in supplementary ToS.
"Workers KV, Durable Objects, and R2, storage offerings used to serve HTML and non-HTML content."

Either way if you go above 100TB be sure to be contacted by Cloudflare to jump into Enterprise plan (now starting from $3k AFAIK, definitely not $8k for just 30TB like someone mentioned above.)

If you push that numbers I would highly suggest just to make your own CDN cluster. For 30TB worldwide serving (from 3 locations) it will cost $300. You can even build it for $150-$200 if you design it nicely and get good dedi deals.

Personally I made 160TB (200TB RAW, up to 2Gbps bandwidth) cluster for $200 and for popular videos/peaks during day I can spawn VPSes to free up bandwidth of cluster (netcup VPS 40gb ssd+80tb bandwidth, 24h for just $0.11.) but I serve only in Europe. Worldwide will be more expensive.

I don't think that's right. Unless it's some other service under cloudflare that we're not aware about.

If the "CDN" mentioned was just proxy through cloudflare you don't really need to pay much. There's free plan and there's $20/$5 pro plan.

If it's R2 then it's slightly pricier but it's not remotely near to 8K per month for 30TB of storage or traffic.

The have a separate offer for Video streaming

And it was before the time the R2 existed...

Ah yes, forgotten about that. I was thinking about storage instead of streaming and transcoding etc.
But I still don’t think they charge so much for so little, do they?
