v6Node moves to Frankfurt! | EPYC 3rd GEN PREORDER | + Dedicated IPv4
Hi,
I've been planning to colocate for a few months now as the expansion possibilities are quite limited with Hetzner.
Eventually, the decision fell on Telehouse in Frankfurt, with AS47447 (23M) as the upstream provider.
I already placed an order for a Supermicro EPYC Gen3-based server and will order the remaining networking equipment during the next few days.
The location is excepted to go live in January 2023, possibly already this December.
This will also be the first location with full Dedicated IPv4 support
Ogden, US will follow soon.

OK, we'll wait 9 years.
At least you'll have some time for some push-ups!
Do you mean that it is possible to get Dedicated IPv4 to an existing VM?
In Ogden? Yes, later this year/ early next year
Elderly Bird plan.
Just added a smaller plan as well

Will it be possible to set rDNS via panel for both v4 and v6?
Initially only via ticket but it will eventually be configurable via the panel as well
Any blocked port?
Mail is blocked by default, but can be unblocked on request.
No mass mailing however
the offer free bgp session?
It is planned, but it will probably not be available right at the beginning.
The DC lease has been signed and half of the hardware already arrived
I'm currently testing and validating the upcoming platform update which will be deployed early next week
Dedicated IPv4 will launch first in the US and then in Frankfurt, Germany once the location goes live this December/ Januar.
To align the promo plans with the rest of the lineup I decided to double the CPU resources for both plans.
Early Bird 10GB comes with 4 Cores and the 4GB model with two cores.
The promo will end tomorrow evening
@v3ng Hello, Is there any update on this preordered Frankfurt vps?
It it can be delivered in January 2023?
The stripe payment page shows 4 core instead of 2 (which is nice)
"4 EPYC 7443P Cores / 10GB RAM / 60GB NVMe / 10 TB Traffic"
Btw, is the offer still active?
Hi,
The infra in Frankfurt has been running for a few weeks already.
However, we had a networking issue that took some time to debug but has since been sorted out by our upstream provider.
I'm currently making the last few adjustments to the backend then once the new update has been deployed I'll set up the preorders.
Should be 3-4 days now.
Starting in April I'll also have another Laravel developer joining v6Node to help with the development of the backend
No, the preorder special is out of stock at the moment.
Once the location is up and all preorders have been deployed + servers migrated from Hetzner I'll consider opening a few slots again depending on the resource utilization.
