Hi there,
I'm looking for a budget VPS for my class project which last until December, and mostly idling. Coding is done on my machine and copy to the VPS for demonstration every two week.

Hello,
What is your budget and what specs?
Thanks for your kindness. But I'm looking for US server for lower latency and better connectivity.
I really don't have a budget, just looking for lowest possible option. Maybe 3-4 GB RAM 30 GB Storage for Windows and IDE installation. about cpu, I really don't know much cpu need to run windows and IDE smoothly.

Open a ticket and we can mount a Windows 10 ISO (or any of the server distributions)
Anyone can provide this at singapore? Not hijacking OP but need the same option only difference is location.. budget approx 10-15 USD per month..
any hourly billing VPS would be good
I asked @speedypage online chat a few hours ago, they got windows template ready, but they could setup our own iso if needed.
I was thinking about this too. But can't find any service with this hourly billing with Windows template.
I will look at these. Thank you for your help!
@lentro is your boy.
He has hourly servers with option to choose Windows.

Hetzner cloud : Scale up when you need cpu power (but pick option to leave storage constant). scale back down when you don't need the power.
They have iso mount.
I also did the same thing with Linode years ago for the same exact scenario, for a Uni project that needed some more power once per week, but the rest of the week, it was manageable with little ressources. Paid like 7-8$ per month back then and I even had some free student credit left after that.
Netcup also support custom Iso.
P.S if you are student you can probably get a lot of free money on vultr, DO, and Linode.
Or ask someone to invite you on Hetzner or Netcup and you will get some free credit. Tho I am not sure if anyone wants the liability of inviting you to Hetzner. If your invitee on Hetzner breaks ToS it counts against you as well and you are banned from affiliate program.

Got this already... $1.75 per month is pretty good
