can I grap the small one to run wordpress powered blog? php is memory sensitive AFAIK
Yes, that would be fine
What CPUs are you using? Any YABS?
BTW, the VPS I have with @EthernetServers has been superb!
We use E5-2620v2.
It looks like you did a YABS over here.
He's old. Sometimes he forget things... Forgive him!
But I agree with Arkas about being superb host. It actually bothers me in some way, because this terrible urge to purchase another vps on the other location too although as a central european I know that LA isn't most suitable for my usage and I am trying to stick with NJ.
I am? Maybe, I have to think about it.
I always choose my VPS on where it's target audience of what I am doing is, not on where I am located.
I agree, everytime I see this thread I want to buy 1 more!
Yes, that's true, but most of my target audience is from area around me and sometimes I am my own (psyBNC, squid proxy, vpn, nextcloud...) target audience.
What I am trying to say is that I don't really need VPS from relatively distant LA, but the one from NJ I like so much that I am thinking about getting another one on the other location just for the sake of it.
@Mumbly Does anyone really still use the old psyBNC and not use znc ?
Yes, I do It's not just Arkas old here
'if it ain't broke, don't fix it'
It's not like ancient IRCd of a network I mostly idle changed that much in the last two decades either.
I've been using ethernet for a while. It's good!
Any chance of a central US location? Chicago would be perfect!
Thank you for the kind words!
There's no such plans right now unfortunately, but, never say never
Something I learnt yesterday, thanks to a customer who let me know, is that WireGuard actually does work on our platform when BoringTun is used, which I've tested and see that Nyr's script installs perfectly: https://github.com/Nyr/wireguard-install
Just thought I would post this here as many comments on our threads have asked about WireGuard, and I've always given a firm "no" that it wasn't supported.

Don't know why you wait soooooo long to come to LET. My first VPS ever is with you. Just ordered another VPS and it's still very good quality comparing to the price.
What's the Linux kernel version?
Looking forward to Stable 6.0+
You offer DirectAdmin?, I need test DA, Thanks you
@EthernetServers
is it possible to order additional storage?
Members have been posting here about their great deals for a while.
I got my 1st VPS from their Black Friday sale in 2020.
man it’s vz7, so kernel version is probably 3.10.x or something like this
yes, you are correct, but they are migrating to openVZ9 sometime after the new year. Then it will be a 5.x kernel.
if you install Debian 10/11 → 4.19.0
/64 IPv6 Addresses (Reverse DNS / PTR Available)
As it's mentioned in the post user can add RDNS. can we add it by ourselves or open a ticket to be added.
Ticket
Thanks for the kind words!
Our nodes run 3.10.0-1160.53.1.vz7.185.3
We do indeed, it is $7/mo (unlimited accounts)
Absolutely! We charge $2.50/mo per 50 GB space.
I'm happy you're enjoying your VPS - thank you!
Right now that requires a ticket, but I'm actively working on a solution which will enable users to set their own IPv6 rDNS entries via SolusVM. I'm no expert when it comes to PowerDNS and am struggling a bit due to some complexities we have with the current way things are set up, but I'm hopeful to have a solution in the coming few days.
When the service renews does the price stay the same or goes up?
The price stays the same
I'm 10 months with this provider and service have been great. What is even better its their support, Thanks to George S for his 1 min response
Been using it since i signed up with you guys. Works great.
Glad to hear it, thank you!
