Sorry for the delay in provisioning, been a little busy with life and stuff. I will have these provisioned this weekend 100%.

It's Ok
#ThanksGTHost for spending weekend time on provisioning free NAT to this community
Hi, I made a small donation to Wikipedia. I have attached the proof as a screenshot.
I'd like a VM with the maximum spec (2 CPU Cores, 2GB RAM, 40GB SSD, 200Mbps port) if possible. I want to build a blog on the server, so I'd prefer if port 443 can be forwarded to the VM. I know it could have already been used, so if port 443 is not available, port 2083, 2087, 2096 and 8443 can also do the trick.
Hi there!
Thanks for your interest. Because you have a new account, we'll have a chat among the team to discuss your eligibility. We'll get back to you ASAP.
All provisioned, check your PMs
Thanks @TheOnlyDK! Thanks @GTHost!
Looking to experiment with docker a bit more, and run a simple webserver. #ThanksGTHost
Since travel is still wonky, I'd like to virtually visit Chicago #ThanksGTHost
If passthru is enabled, that'd be gravy.
More serious, usage would include testing with low-spec web services (eg, mongoose )
Thanks @TheOnlyDK , @GTHost , @Not_Oles & LET Community
Thank you, sorry I missed the eligibility criteria ...
There was some discussion about maybe giving new accounts a temporary instance for a few months and then extending the accounts when they have had time to establish themselves as awesome community members. I guess new accounts still would have to win the lottery. What do you think?
Thanks @GTHost! Thanks @TheOnlyDK!
In other news, I recently started a discussion with an additional potential sponsor. I know this is vague, but it's too early in the discussion to imagine their result. But I think it's interesting that we are seeing an indication of support on the donor side as well as many on the user side. Anyone else want to donate maddddd sysadmin skillz, dddddedicated servers, baddddd bandwidth? Thanks!
I think that's awesome!
Do I need isp with ipv6 connectivity in order to connect to these vm ?
Okay, please give @TheOnlyDK and me a few days. And please watch this thread. Friendly greetings!
Thanks @GTHost!
Nope! They have NAT IPv4 as well as IPv6. Thanks GTHost!
@TheOnlyDK will send you ipv4 and ssh port. You can request custom ports and use the cloudflare proxy as well.
That's cool, I immediately think this wasn't suited for me— as my isp does not support ipv6.
Appreciate what you're doing to the community , wish your company all the best.
ThanksGTHost
How does the donation work? Is there a donation link?
This is an awesome idea.
How is the ipv6 subnet implemented? veth device?
ThanksGTHost
Quoting from the original post in this thread:
"Option 2:
Make a donation to any charity, post proof and desired specs.
Donors will get double max resources (up to 2 CPU Cores, 2GB RAM, 40GB SSD, 100 200Mbps port, 10 custom v4 ports).
Guaranteed VM as long as there are available resources."
Thanks!
Are you asking whether the free NAT VPS instances connect to IPv6 via qemu's virtual ethernet device?
If that's your question, I think the answer might be yes. If I misunderstood your question, please ask again.
Yeah! Thanks GTHost!
