Require dedi with quad / hex core and 32/64 G of Memory with SSD
Hi Peeps,
Looking for a cheap dedi with minimum quad core and 32G of Ram. Looking to replace a oneprovider server with similar specs with xeon 1245 v3 that has two IP addresses.
Budget is around $25-30 for a replacement however can bump a little bit if Cores/Ram can increase.
Location is not very particular but US/CA/EU have been standard options to choose from in recent past.
Thanks

What was wrong with the OneProvider server to make you switch?
How about Hetzner Server Auction as a first suggestion?
$25-30 + quad cores + 32 GB of ram
That's a VERY tight budget for what you are asking...
Just some of Hetzner's cheapest servers around 33€ will barely fit his budget and for 4 cores, forget about 6 cores!
Walkerservers has a close config with HDD, open a ticket and ask if they can do their cheapest LW server with SSD instead.
Other than these options, forget about Europe for a such a cheap price, not with the new electricity prices in Europe .
Fraction Servers has an old E3-1230v1 with 32GB and two SSDs in the UK for GBP29 - with the pound continuing to go downhill, that one would get cheaper every week in USD.
Strato has an E3-1230v3 with 32GB and two ssds for EUR35 (though on 100mbit, gbit costs extra) in Germany.
So if 100mbit is enough, the kimsufi KS-17 with an E3-1245 v2 32GB and two SSD (currently available in France) would be the best choice, but has a setup fee.
Hop1 Networks used to have an E3-1230 v5 w/ 32GB and a 240GB SSD (plus a 1TB HDD) for USD 34.95* in Philadelphia but that one is currently out of stock.
(*even cheaper w/ a code from WHT)
I second these thoughts, if he doesn't need anything like DDoS mitigation then his best option will probably be HopOneNetworks. They even have 2x240s if you can stand waiting them to restock the those "instant deploy" E3v5s.
Otherwise, the Ryzen 64G promo is the only other unit worth going for if you can pony up the extras that is...
Some OS limitation, limited IPMI support are the main things. Couple of others but they can be ignored for now.
Hetzner end up touching $35 mostly so currently exploring if I close enough competing offer.
Location is not an issue for me at the moment. Yes that is why currently have to stay with OP and explore the competing offers especially in lowend forum.
