Best Free VPNs
Here is a list of free VPNs. I would only use these for emergency situations regardless of what the reviewer says, for long term it's best to buy a VPN, look for lifetime deals, they are usually worth it. If you are looking for a free VPN or for a secondary VPN to use in a by case basis then I would advise you to watch the video.
For a good lifetime deal, I would seriously consider stacksocial's VPN unlimited lifetime deal.

Great deal, but too bad that it's not reoccurring. It is probably $99.99 after first year.
Windscribe's promo on stacksocial is still available for the next 2 days https://stacksocial.com/sales/windscribe-pro-1-year-subscriptions, and even without it, the single-location option is only $3 a month with no long term commitment
What's the advantage of this over Tor, other than perhaps speed and not being blocked for connecting over Tor?
This.
Plus it boils down to who do you trust more - a VPN provider, or a TOR node operator. There are all kinds of both.
The best part of visiting that link from this thread is that I got "Access Denied" while browsing with a VPN
