Well after all, is there any hong kong vps to use as VPN ??

@jayjay has Hong Kong (both NAT and dedicated IPv4).
    https://www.mlnl.host/
You can have them only if you are a millennial.

They also have options for boomers. GenZ folks need to look elsewhere.

  • So... is the end nigh?

@Abd has Hong Kong (NAT only).

Now is not a good time as there's repeated network problem in this location.

Note that you can't access China mainland entertainment sites from Hong Kong VPN.
They would be recognized as out of region.

:D MLNL.HOST is very inclusive though + just adding more detail to what was already said, we also offer Dedicated IPv6 ranges for all NAT VMs by default.

  • Almost impossible in China mainland.
You can try in Hongkong or Taiwan.
And,why you need China VPS for VPN?As we all Know,GFW is here.
The VPN ,especially node in China ,was "special care" by Gov.

  • The provider of China was required to verify every user, verify their Phone number, debit card and complete facial recognition.
if you can't complete that, you can't buy (almost)any server in China mainland.

If you don’t have Chinese Nationality, never buy China Mainland VPSs.
    It is illegal.

Foreigners can have Chinese VPS if you provide your ID, see e.g. Alibaba Cloud: https://www.alibabacloud.com/help/en/account-management/latest/real-name-registration-faqs

Otherwise it is illegal, so you'd be buying from only the shadiest of providers.

    Sorry I made a mistake.
However China VPSs are on aliyun.com , alibabacloud.com only sells Hong Kong VPS

why not to use VPN instead of VPS? so you get a lifetime subscription

    为什么不使用 VPN 服务而不是 VPS? 所以您可以获得终身订阅

I haven't done real name verification so I can't get past here, but Alibabacloud.com has mainland VPS

  • I guess you need a vpn in China to watch the websites of video manufacturers in China? For example, iQIYI, Youku, Tencent Video, etc. Then you can't watch them with Hong Kong VPN. When you open these websites with IP outside Chinese Mainland, you will be prompted for copyright

So there still has KYC. Same as aliyun.com

You might be able to fly under the radar with CloudFlare WARP, it uses the same ports as Railgun

Not sure but Cloudflare WARP does which comes with it's own DNS channel.

For your case, I recommend using a Hong Kong vps with a real-direct connection to China, if you intend to use a VPN for surfing in China, mainland network. But you will need to double confirm with the host before signing-up on a Hong Kong VPS, as a lot of hosts selling Hong Kong VPS is using route to either HK > US > CN or HK > JP > CN cause high latency, instead of direct route HK > CN with better speed and low latency.

  • Sorry, there is no China VPS service at drserver.net at this moment.
