Note that you can't access China mainland entertainment sites from Hong Kong VPN.
They would be recognized as out of region.

I guess you need a vpn in China to watch the websites of video manufacturers in China? For example, iQIYI, Youku, Tencent Video, etc. Then you can't watch them with Hong Kong VPN. When you open these websites with IP outside Chinese Mainland, you will be prompted for copyright

Not sure but Cloudflare WARP does which comes with it's own DNS channel.

For your case, I recommend using a Hong Kong vps with a real-direct connection to China, if you intend to use a VPN for surfing in China, mainland network. But you will need to double confirm with the host before signing-up on a Hong Kong VPS, as a lot of hosts selling Hong Kong VPS is using route to either HK > US > CN or HK > JP > CN cause high latency, instead of direct route HK > CN with better speed and low latency.
