I have set up a Private Networking with Hosthatch's VPS, but it doesn't work well.

Both servers are on Debian 11 (Chicago), and I have enabled private network in the panel.
I followed this page to configure the private network, after that by running ifconfig on both hosts, I can see that they have been assigned 192.168.10.1 (Host 1) and 192.168.10.2
(Host 2)
but when I try to ping 192.168.10.2 (Host 2) on 192.168.10.1 (Host 1), it doesn't work well.

[email protected]:~# ping 192.168.10.2
PING 192.168.10.2 (192.168.1.2) 56(84) bytes of data.
From 192.168.10.1 icmp_seq=1 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.10.1 icmp_seq=2 Destination Host Unreachable
From 192.168.10.1 icmp_seq=3 Destination Host Unreachable

I hope you guys can help me, thank you very much!

If you open a ticket with all the details, we will get it resolved for you.

We're super busy with the network revamp in Hong Kong this weekend, but please open a ticket and include the maximum amount of details possible for a faster resolution.

Are you sure they're both 192.168.10.x?

Please paste the output of these commands from each machine, shortly after you've tried the ping.
You can delete your public IP as it's irrelevant.

    ip addr
    ip neigh
