beware its a turkish scam
What's wrong with it?
What have you both been smoking? $1500 for a 36TB backup beast is good.
Yeah what's wrong with it? maybe he wanna sell us faulty hardware?
4:47 PM ispirto the physical condition is not the greatest at this time http://goo.gl/hjxZ8n
Each disk costs $139 or less. Definitively, it's not a bargain.

I do apologize, I was mistaken.
What's the DC? Can it be kept at the DC and be colocated?
Choopa via CC. Yes, it can stay there.
Price may be too high
@Spencer is this a good deal?!
BUY IT!
That's just $130 per 3TB hard drive! And you get a server with CPU, memory and all others for free!
Are you getting out of the game?
Or maybe just upgrading?
12 ports might be too low. We ordered one with 24 for an internal NFS.
I don't understand why people are saying this is not a good deal.... honestly I really don't, could someone who thinks it is not a good deal please explain why they think that?
This sort of server without drives goes for around $400 from what I can see on ebay at the lower end, the drives alone would be another $1700 so that's $2100
You would be saving between $400 - $500, am I missing something, have the drives been grinding for 2 years already or something?
@AnthonySmith
I agree, it looks like a really good deal to me too, not sure why poeple are saying otherwise... its an entire server, not just the drives.
Nevermind, it is a good deal!
Seems so! That is a crazy deal then.
6 3tb drives is just 18tb in space. This has 36. So double the disk costs... $1660 for disks, $350for server. About 2k total to build.
Someone can't count lol. Clearly says 12 x 3TB in the OP.
This is not a backupsy server lol
backupsy server is running on a core2duo with 2gb ram, many swapping and /dev/nulling
