  • Hey is there an option to switch to 10G burst 330TB bandwidth on Ryzen like it was some time ago?

We no longer offer the 150TB over 10G option. While the goal was to offer awesome mega-bursting for legitimate use, a few ruined it for everyone:

    1. There was a tremendous amount of abuse and it became a chore for our techs to chase it down.

    2. Many customers didn't understand that getting 10G on a single thread wasn't possible to every location. We too many comical situations where people expected to be able to push 10G to a destination that only had a 1G port. And finally, the majority of people who purchased a 10G port that thought that upgrading from 1G to 10G would reduce latency.

Beyond the additional support, customers would leave bad reviews stating those "facts". All in all, switching to unmetered options was a fix for all of the above and solved many other problems for us with people using more bandwidth than they expected and having to upgrade additional TB.

We also have an Intel D510 configuration that just became available. These are great for DNS, content delivery, etc.
