Free up space with NFS on a storage VPS - what would you move?

In this scenario:

  • 2 servers from the same provider with a private LAN network
  • 1 "fast" vps with low storage (50GB NVME)
  • 1 "slow" vps with large storage (2TB HDD)

With a NFS share on the storage VPS, what standard linux directories would you be comfortable redirecting with a symlink? I'm thinking /home and /var/log for sure, but what about the entire /var directory?
