2022 THE ULTIMATE BENCHMARK SCRIPT (DEMO & SHOWCASE)

mastervncmastervnc Member
edited July 2022 in General

Hi guys, I have now developed a bechmark script with a great foundation of previous scripts and a lot of presentation improvements built by myself. It can now be said that it is 99.99% complete.

Now I would like to present the content when the bench is complete in the background (copy all the results in the yellow frame into an editor with monofont to feel the accuracy), if there are any issues to discuss, please leave a comment below.

This script is currently not released, I will release it as soon as possible.

The lengthy results reminds me of my monthly groceries receipt.

I guess that's why it's the "Ultimate Benchmarking Script".

I cook often and only eat out, or order delivery when I'm lazy to cook

I'm guessing this is supposed to be some kind of logo, but it was impossible to work out what. Maybe use different characters like slashes or vertical bar in such a limited space.

     IPv4 Address : 172.105.63.X
     Network Traits : 172.105.48.0/20

I'd say that even revealing it down to /24 would be enough to make someone an relatively easy DDoS target.

Not sure why it's useful to have this in so many languages.

But otherwise it looks pretty cool. The threads will get pretty annoying though if each post is this long, so it'd almost be nice if it showed you a summary and had a link to the actual results, like the geekbench claim that YABS leaves behind.

I do quite like the number of places you do bandwidth tests to though.

  • @jsg thoughts and dissertation on this?

Because the website does not have a monospace font, copy that content into notepad++ for example, you will see a very different formatted layout.

I prefer the script that will display all the necessary parameters, of course there will be additional parameters to ignore the items that I do not want to check, such as --nogeek --noout --noin...

It was posted in a code block. It's monospaced. It's still impossible to tell what it's supposed to be, which is why I suggested using different symbols like slashes, dashes and vertical lines.

  • It's interesting. Waiting to test it.

  • Mmm 😋 I do get a lil turned on by all those stats..

It doesn't display correctly, when you use the terminal or view the file it is formatted very evenly, here is the output image I took for you to see.

This looks the same as in the first post. And I'm not talking about that part of the output.

I'm specifically talking about the logo thing in the first few lines, as per what I quoted. This part:

It's clearly supposed to be something, but by just using @ characters, it's hard to make out what it's supposed to be.
