    Dam, i have 1 left at $5/month.

  • Probably OP means $4 per thread (i.e. $64/mo for dual L5520?)

  • I don't know what coin you're mining but you should check out datashack, or WSI they have servers in your budget. Both under 4$/thread, although OOS.

Yes, that's what I mean. $4 or less per thread.

If Dual Xeon L5639 (24 threads), budget is $96 or less.

if Dual Xeon L5520 (16 threads), budget is $64 or less.

    Only CPU mining cryptocoins.

Yes, Both DS and WSI are OOS. WSI have a dual L5639 at $49. That's almost $2.042 per threads only.

  • Yes, I have already shortlist FilpHost.net and QuickPacket.com, but QPS is OOS ATM, so is DS and WSI.

FilepHost's 5520 is US$49. That's work out to be $3.0625 per threads, well within budget.

    VaporNode.com listed 2xL5520 as US$75/mth.

My budget is $64 for 2xL5520.

I will put vapornode.com in the shortlist if it's within my budget...

As stated, this is a special offer. The price point would be within your budget at $60/month. Sorry, I should have included that originally.

    2 left...

  • @qps, 2xL5520 OOS again?

    Looking for a 2xL5639. Anyone?

  • @MiniVZ what is your budget?

    @MarkTurner,

    Based on 2 offers of 2xL5520's 16 threads (not cores) @ $49,

Budget for L5639's 24 threads (not cores) will be 49/16*24=$73.5

    WSI - US$49, DataShack - US$69, ServerComplete - US$69, NeedaServer - US$71.95

  • @minivz - what spec? memory, etc

    L5639 is 6 cores - therefore 2 x L5639 = 12 cores not 24.

  • True, it's 24 threads. But anyone having a 12core / 24 threads server for $75/month could start mining himself and probably profit more than $75 for the month.

    Correct. 2xL5639 is 12 cores / 24 threads.

Probably, but price are volatile and not all are profitable. Might start a pool instead. Let other's mine for me. :P

  • To start a pool look for DDoS protected server. There seems to be a whole new world of drama with the pool operators :)

We do not have an ETA for the Dual L5639 systems at this time.

  • This is an aside, but how many VPS could an L5639 support (not looking to resell). It would help me with my vps syndrome lol. Consolidate :<

Loads, probably more than a hundred depending on disk / network / ip's available

  • L5639's are spiking in price now too. Got two processors for $150 3 months ago, they are listing on e-bay at $250 now.

  • Supply is drying up from the large off-lease gear. The L5639 wasn't a retail CPU so once the off-lease supply thins prices will go up
