Cant Decide HELP! WHMCS Emails

JasonhyperhostJasonhyperhost Member, Patron Provider

Hey Guys

a little undecided

currently running a Linux VM with DA for Email which is running solid, but i do have to limit emails going out so i dont get marked as spam as we send many transaction emails ,

im thinking of moving to office 365 (Sorry the big boys)

does anyone use Office 365 for WHMCS or would you go against and just route mailchannels via DA

like to see what others thing as im undecided at this stage

  • Google is always a good option imo

We were hitting outbound limits with Google with transactional emails. I imagine the same will happen with office365.

I may be incorrect but was under the impression o365 is 10k a day

About 3kish more than google I think google has 3k a hour

Just trying to see if 0365 really needed or not to be totally honest

  • You can always look into aws SES and ask for higher limits.

Do read this ^ and think twice before choosing outlook/office365.

I would recommend some transactional email service, like Amazon SES etc.

I am using amason ses which is very good for 2-3 years

struck between Office 365 you get the Added benefit of 1TB onedrive + teams which is handed but there is far better email solutions out there such as Imap + Mailchannels im really at the stage on which i should learn too many to choose from now , or utimatly just spin up a VM setup DA & run Mailchannels for outbound and go nextcloud for storage maybe

For transactional mail that is delivering invoices, tickets and password resets I'd opt for something a bit more fit for purpose.

Postmark, AWS SES with SESDashboard are good options.

    MXRoute would be good too.
