Let the comparison speak from itself. From my PoV a YABS and the prices along with the support experience is enough for a person to let them decide.

I guess when the price you paid is zero, you might think any non-zero YABS and support is good.

  • @Otus9051 Why don't you get a free vps from your friend then post a review on LET? Seems like the rules don't forbid that.

why does everyone seem to care about this?

obviously no one would care about the summer host review once it's out, so why care about when it's suitable to be posted?

These type of threads can easily be avoided if you read the rules before signing up.

Honestly, from my opinion looks like shit posting thread.

@FrankZ said: I can understand not being able to post an offer if you are affiliated with the host unless you pay the $200 fee. But if members can't post deals that we find around the web on this site anymore there is a bigger problem with this $200 fee then I thought.

    This has been covered before.

If a user wishes to share an offer they've found they are welcome to do so.

Note: Users with a commercial interest/benefit (aka: affiliating with the host in question) are not allowed to do so.

@angstrom said: Just to clarify, it's okay for an ordinary user to sincerely recommend a provider if it's relevant to do so (in the context of a given thread), but there should be no shilling or spamming involved

As I said above, the provider in question would do best to apply for a Host Rep tag once they've been up and running for a while

I see you already covered this, thank you! :)

Cloud-V already a patron provider. They can post an offer here.

Not Cloud-V, a Cloud Host of a person I know. Not ready for production yet, systems are good to go but pricing and things.

Frankly, it sounds like it would be premature to "advertise" a host that isn't even in production yet

    He's 13, he's got premature locked down.
