Some people somewhere else live much poorly than some others.

    So give them a break.

I see it available for purchase like everyday. Or are you trying to save extra in terms of setup fee?

It's unavailable now? I can't buy it now.
Oh the setup fee... Well, forget it.

Good luck for the hunting :) When I checked the recent times it was always 'out of stock'.

But now interesting, because currently there is an order button (look's like available) on the kimsufi.com, but when I click, it say 'Your cart is empty', and 'Sorry, the selected server or configuration is no longer available'.

Probably, but not always, and could be taken away on disk failure.

If the drive is truely shit, ask via API.

The drive isn't shit at all, it's just small compared to what they offer now for the same money. Unless it fails and I ask for a replacement, which they'll probably replace with a larger one, I'm stuck with it.
I can run scripts to drive it to the ground, but that isn't honest and I wont do that.

Out of curiosity, do they replace drives only after complete involucration, or a few read errors on smart is enough?

Maybe running smartctl -t long /dev/sda will reveal anything?

I thought they were nearly impossible to get? I remember I had to hunt mine down and it took something like 2 months back then. I didn't know they are available now.

If you get a few errors, they'll probably replace it.
