Why only one IPv6 address per VM?

    Hello,
Thanks for reaching out, that has just been our normal configuration on VPS, 1IPV4 and 1 IPV6. I will bring up adding additional with our team though.

    Traffic is low.

make it 2TB and things should roll.

Maybe it will be better to write that you block port 25 and do NOT allow reverse dns with all VPS packages.

    Hello,
Yes that is correct, all VPS's are port 25 blocked to prevent spam.
Anyone who purchases who needs port 25 has been issued a refund upon request.
Though I appreciate the input, will clarify going forward in our ads.

Is port 25 blocked for all customers regardless of account standing?

Port 25 is blocked only on VPS services for all customers as we block it on the switch.

Port 25 is open on colocation and dedicated servers though - we do not allow spam though.

  • Can the STKVM-512GB run a MinIO server? I wonder if the 1 CPU & HDD is good enough.

I personally have never tried it.
You can order and test it if you want, if it does not suite your needs in the first few days just open a ticket requesting a refund and we will issue one.

This plan is offered right now in Dallas, TX. Would anyone prefer us to add a Tampa, FL location for storage VPS in the future?

Not currently for VPS/Dedicated but I will say some of our management is interested in EU for 2023. We will see though.

All plans are upgradable, but we do plan to increase the default bandwidth when possible.

It's a peppy storage server and the network has been consistently very good. The CPU pass-thru with AES-NI enabled make encrypting my backups low load and fast. Which means I can also use it as my Dallas monitoring station for my network of DNS and web servers. I've only been using this less than a couple months but I really like it and, so far, it is a definite keeper.
