Hey guys

Seems like the annual egg hunt started over at netcup. Several eggs already appeared on the tracker: https://camelus.eu/netcup/

The only interesting VPS I see is this one:

    Seems like they are focusing on big VMs:

    Eggs are moving this time around. I only find webhosting offers on your /vserver link. So this is useless this year.

    Anyway, i ordered the eggspert to benchmark. It may actually make sense instead of a dedi.

    Edit : Just got the eggspert. Starting to benchmark now..

    Well, if it was worth it, maybe keep it. But mostly to benchmark to be honest. Im looking to replace the one i have from before with a ovh dedi (look my sharing a dedi thread here), but we will see. Ill keep it around for a few days and think and test.

    Other users can't use a link with a specific hiddenkey, it has to be generated for each use.

    So the only link that can be useful to somebody else than you is the link to the page on Netcup's site where the egg appears (but once again, after a while the egg is not on this page anymore, hence the tracker that - while being imperfect - makes it easier to find "fresh" eggs).

    Remember: there is no Nested Virt enabled in the RS offers:

    unfortunately, in our experience, nested virtualization via SVM flag can lead to technical problems at the processor level. Since the servers we rent out are fully virtualized, such problems affect all customers on the same node equally. For this, as well as for security reasons, we can therefore no longer offer you the activation of the SVM flag.
