Which game you wanna host?
DDoS protection for applications depends of specific game because it's strictly connected with packet's filtering, OVH Game protection works well only on supported games who's listed there https://us.ovhcloud.com/products/security/anti-ddos, for each other game you should made manually network filters but sometimes your server can has been shutdown by strong attack(volumetric).

The license is valid and there is some issue with this maybe, because I got host rep on reviewing WHMCS verification and it was authorized.
Let me check what's the issue there and fix it.
If anyone thinking about cracked or like that, please check the screenshot. it's owner license, and branding removal also not allowed. but in cracked you can even remove that.

what about Italy as location?
Out of curiosity, what gameserver would you be running? We have strict gameserver specific filters for DDoS protection that only lets legitimate packets through and drops everything else, so the possibiity of any DDoS leaking through is greatly reduced. This is only available for certain gameservers at this time (FiveM, Source, MTA:SA, SA:MP, etc.). We're always open to adding more filters however.

Too low. Also, after some thought I'm looking for 3 cores probs.
Niche survival indie game.
No info on the clock speed of the CPU.
My main concern is high clock speed since game server is very gamethread logic limited. Second is memory and space is last.

Very, VERY good offers, sadly, CPU speed is a tad low for game server.
Without game-specific filters, UDP attacks are a bit hard to properly mitigate unfortunately, TCP is usually not much of an issue.
It's a Ryzen 9 5950X, however only the base clocks are listed. The cores run at a boost clock of 4+GHz typically.
Oh fair enough. Yeah, the game data itself is UDP, matchmaking services are EOS TCP so they handle that stuff themselves already.
Gotcha, out of curiosity, what clockspeeds are you looking for?
Ideally 4.6-5.2 range.
