New Category for Job Offers/Requests?
Happy Sunday Everyone,
Had an idea that I wanted to get some feedback on: Should there be a category for job offers and requests?
Could be useful in helping to connect hosts with people looking for work?

It's not a terrible idea - but I don't know if there are enough hosts taking people on to warrant an entire category. Job offers would be cool though, especially if there was some out-of-community people who woud post here (I imagine some of LET's users have experience that would be valuable even to people not in this exact market).
A job requests (not requets as in the title I hope... lmao) category would probably not be an amazing idea, I imagine it'll be filled with a lot of people who aren't really what anybody is looking for.
How bout Gig Work instead?
Some hosts have posted here prior offering jobs only for it to lead to a discussion about how bad the job posting is or why it's not enough to pay etc...
While the community isn't wrong on some of the points made, it's not needed for a job posting.
There is a reason Indeed does not have a discussion on each job listing, let's keep this a forum and not turn it into indeed.
LET is not a fucking job centre.
Is offering hosting for vps services not a job?
You pay for a job here.
No, it’s not a job.
There is no reason not to have it, and it keeps it out of the regular categories. Hosting support, design, development, graphic design, script install, etc...it can be a useful source for both providers and users alike. More traffic never hurts.

Will the wage threshold be $7 per hour/month/year?
what could it hurt? if it gets no use it affects.. nothing. in the meantime it's there to collect the occasional random job posting we already see.
i say do it.
Threshold will be 7 push-ups per hour.
Do they need to pay $200 p/y to be able to post?
Yeah cool idea to have a job-page requests!
Many hosts do want technical, seo, UX design and re-design work.
easy for them and users to interact.
Why do we have to reinvent Linkedin, Upwork or Fiverr?
Now providers will be able to look for people who write fake reviews for money like jsg on LET at the LET itself ...
