Hi @sots -- we do have DDoS protection on the network level to maintain the integrity and uptime of our network across our global locations, but for specific targeted attacks towards your VM, such as DDoS attacks or Layer 7 attacks targeted to your VPS IP specifically, that is done on a best effort basis and not something that we are able to guarantee.
If you're experiencing attacks, it might make sense to consider a specialized DDoS protection solution whereby you would receive a guaranteed level of protection, so you can benefit from tailored protection specific to your use-case. We can also offer this type of solution on a custom basis on our bare metal product line as well - if that is something you were interested in discussing, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected]
