Magicspam is owned by a company that runs an RBL that wouldn't delist MXroute IP space (read: full ranges only used by MXroute and no one else). MXroute is literally the most militant anti spam email provider that exists, I'm comfortable concluding that. Imagine what else they won't delist? And that RBL comes enabled by default in their aging licensed software. They're so out of touch with reality and mipspace is their most forward facing evidence.
You want rspamd. And if you want to freely benefit from continued work on rspamd filters, you can use my rule set: https://github.com/mxroute/rspamd_rules
Friends don't let friends used closed source software developed by overly opinionated people. Instead, use open source curated by overly opinionated people.
Rspamd is solid and you can extend it with many other tools. Very happy with it.
Stay away from Magicspam.
Only used rspamd and very happy with it.
Moving from spamassassin to rspamd was the best thing I ever did on my personal mailserver setup
Yes,Magicspam is really a stupid company, even your IP 100% clean check at mxtoolbox and multirbl valli, with rnds, they won't delist your IP.
rspamd
Rspamd is really if compare to spamassassin
Rspamd is great. Much faster than things like spam assassin. Adding to what @jar said - rbl's are boomer tech and MIPSpace is particularly bad, broad, and known to not correct known incorrect listings. Rspamd default settings scores higher based on rbl blocks but does not necessarily completely block the email, and the fuzzy signatures are a god send.
I want to use it with my VPS running Centos and DirectAdmin.
Do you have any installation guide/configuration for this yet?
This will work, it's how I deploy and update rspamd so as to not see the rules overwritten: https://github.com/mxroute/da_server_updates/blob/master/rspamd/update_rspamd.sh
Just because I like abit of controversy..... I chose macigspam pro its actually really good... the block lists can be tuned and spaces can be whitelisted it also adds extra rules into spam assassin but they aren't really doing much (moat spammer it's are blocked at connection using the rbl's)
Chip
Rspamd is great. Mailcow uses it.
