Suggestions needed on choosing server location

kendkend Member

Hey guy! Wish you are having a nice weekend!

Let me cut this short. I'm planning to put most of my WordPress websites on one single server so that I don't need to take care of many different VPSes at the same time. The websites are mainly focusing on the US/UK and Germany traffics, only a few of them would be for Asian traffics. I now need your opinions, which location would be better for my server, considering I now have three options: NL or DE in EU, LA and NY in the US. (EU server is more favorable to me as the cost is lower. But I'm not sure if EU server with 1G uplink would be fast enough for the US.)

Thank you very much for your help!

New York or London for EU/US focused servers. So from your list of options NY.

AMS, LON, FRA, NYC maybe even ASH

LA is to far latency wise for EU.
Its just a website but if you can put it in a better location, do so.

Ok. Thank you guys! So I guess I would use an AMS server as it's cheaper than a NY one.
