How's the TCP/UDP DDoS protection on these? How well would it handle haproxied Game Servers?

Should be fine, we have a good DDoS Protection for game servers like Minecraft, FiveM and others for example.
Also there is a 7 day refund policy except payment's with crypto or paysafecard so you can give it a test if you are not happy with the result full refund no questions asked.

Removing that extra layer combined with the fast server network might speed up the whole site performance...
