Looking for VPS in Costa Rica or close to CR
Hi guys,
I am looking for a very small VPS with a very, very good connection with Europe. I will use it as a personal proxy and VPN to connect from Costa Rica to my servers in Finland
My requirements are:
- Just 1, shared vCore
- at least 512MB RAM
- IPv4 - it can be a shared IP
- at least 100Mbit flat, with at least 2TB monthly bandwidth
- Any Linux distro with kernel 5.X
My budget: doesn't matter, but it would be good if the price will be below 10$/mo.
I am also considering GCP instance in us-east1, but I'm not sure about connections
I am looking forward for good offers

CL, if that's close enough.

OT: based on CR connection via submarine cable. perhaps Florida would be an option or a server in Panama?

virtono has an offer:

Chile is South America, while Costa Rica is Central America. It's a long way around, and I bet it'd go to Miami first anyway.
Best options would probably be either Panama, or the failsafe, Miami.
Miami or Dallas. Maybe not so geographically, but likely to be highly close to CR in terms of network connection
Look for VPS on US east coast, there are many. GCP will be expensive you have to consider they charge also traffic.
Yeah I guess you're right, since it's heading to EU.
Then OP could just go for something in FL.
@brejski - NexusBytes and Hostodo have services in Miami.
