Was looking at Terrahost's new US location, and noticed they are also expanding to Lagos, Nigeria and Amsterdam, Netherlands. Very surprised to see such an unusual location. Exciting to hear about the launch!

We have been working in Nigeria for the last 2 years.
We have also secured an AFRINIC membership and have larger plans for bringing Terrahost to more places in Africa where there is tremendous human capacity.
The stories you hear about Nigerians being scammers are mostly nonsense. Our experience working in Nigeria is that the people there are mostly lovely.
The challenges are mostly with 2 types:
Government agencies with endless "fees" and arbitrary delays.
People who claim to be from Nigeria, but are not Nigerians.
I am not saying that all Nigerians deserve a free pass. I am simply saying that they love their families, and are mostly doing their best.
Nigeria is the most populous nation of the African continent, and we secured data center capacity in a well run data center that should serve the continent very well.
For anyone looking to do business in Africa, take a longer view, and be a bit patient, and you might find some great talent there that is looking for a hand up.

You can imagine the discrimination against Nigerian Princes with ISP's and data centers these days. Would someone please think of the legit Nigerian Princes?!
